• Location data: Business address, city, state, ZIP code, and GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) for service professionals, used to match nearby pros with customers. Location is only displayed when a professional marks themselves as available.
• Verification documents: Professionals may upload identification (ID), tax (EIN), and insurance documents. These are stored as private files accessible only to the account owner and platform administrators.
• Service inquiries: Customer name, email, phone number, service needed, description, preferred date, and address when a customer contacts a professional through the platform.
• Reviews and reports: Customer name, email, rating, comment, and report details submitted about service professionals.
• Payment information: Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card or full payment card details — that data is handled directly by Stripe.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, and usage analytics collected automatically when you use the Service.

• To create and manage user accounts
• To display professional listings and match customers with nearby service professionals
• To process subscription payments and manage featured listings
• To send service inquiries from customers to professionals

• With other users: Professional listing details (business name, services, contact info, location, photos, reviews) are publicly visible to customers. Service inquiries you submit are shared with the corresponding professional.
• With service providers: Stripe processes subscription payments under its own privacy policy. Email delivery providers send transactional and notification emails on our behalf.
• For legal reasons: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Service Link Pros, our users, or others.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Sensitive verification documents are stored as private files accessible only to the account owner and platform administrators, not the public. Payment data never passes through our servers — it is transmitted directly to Stripe over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of payment security certification. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and review the personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct your account and listing information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data through our Data Deletion page
• Withdraw consent for location data by marking yourself unavailable or removing your listing
• Opt out of promotional emails (you will still receive essential account and transactional emails)

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Professional verification documents are retained to maintain compliance and trust records. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through our Data Deletion page. Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can remove it.
